The Murray High School Tiger Band Receives the National Sudler Shield Award

The Murray High School Tiger Band received the Sudler Shield Award during a community concert in the MHS Gymnasium. The international award recognizes a high school marching band program of the very highest quality.

The Sudler Shield Award Concert was administered by the John Philip Sousa Foundation W. Dale Warren, Presenting. During the program Tim Zeiss, MHS Band director, directed Samuel Hazo's "Jubilateo," and Leonard Bernstein, trans. Clare Grundman Tim Zeiss "Slava! "

W. Dale Warren, committee chair John Philip Sousa Foundation, was a guest director and directed the MHS Band in Larry Daehn's "With Quiet Courage."
