During the Region One Regional Championship game, The Murray High Tigers punched their ticket to the 2022 Sweet Sixteen at Rupp after defeating the McCracken Mustangs (MHS 35-Mccracken 28) in the CFSB Center. The Tigers now advance to play in the Sweet Sixteen, Thursday, March 17 in Lexington. The 2022 team joins the 1974, 1977, 1985, and 2016 MHS Tiger teams advancing to Rupp's Sweet Sixteen.
