MHS Senior Isaac Bourne Signs Letter of Intent with Ouachita Tigers Swim Program

Murray, Ky., Nov. 17----Murray High School Senior, Isaac Bourne, signed a letter of intent with Ouachita Baptist University Tigers Swim Program inside the Murray High School gym in a special signing ceremony.

Bourne has been a member of the MHS Swim Team since seventh grade, and an eight-year swim club member since seventh grade.

Bourne is a member of FBLA, Leadership Tomorrow, MHS Speech Team, the MHS 30+ Club, and BETA Club. Bourne also shadows Steve Springer, Murray Ledger and Times, sports editor, as a journalist.

For the past two years, Bourne and his teammates have been named Regional Winners in the Relay 200 Medley, and 200 freestyle team events. During Bourne's MHS Swim Competition career, he has logged the following times with each respective event:

200 Yard Freestyle 1:55.51

100 Yard Freestyle :52.19

100 Yard Backstroke 1:01.07

Ouachita Baptist University is located in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, approximately 65 miles southeast of Little Rock.
