Murray, Ky., April 2------The Murray Independent School District announced beginning Monday, April 13, delivery and pick-up service of free meals will change. All bus deliveries will cease and only pick up service is available at five community locations.
Pick-up times: Monday and Thursday from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
· Monday meals will provide breakfast and lunch meals for (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday).
· Thursday meals will provide breakfast and lunch meals for (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday).

· Point A: (Central) Murray Middle School-(Glendale-Sycamore) (12th-4th Avenue)
· Point B: (Northeast) Willis Center-(Chestnut & Poplar/4th and Industrial Road)
· Point C: (Southeast) Grace Baptist Church (Corner of 9th and Nash) (Sycamore Street to Glendale-Live Oaks and Bagwell Court 12th to 4th Street)
· Point D: (Southwest) Christian Community Church (Corner of Glendale and 16th Street) (Parking Lot Behind Church-Doran Road to 12th Street)
· Point E: (Northwest) MSU Parking lot, (corner of Calloway and Kentucky Ave.) (Main St. to 121 N North/16th including College Courts to N. 20th)
Coy Samons, MISD superintendent, stated MISD is pleased to continue the food-service program. “In these uncertain times, we will continue to tweak the process, and notify the public of any changes in a timely manner.”
April Adams, MISD food services director, and Jay Bordeaux, MISD transportation director, said pick-up food service at MMS will continue. However, location adjustment requests may be made after Spring Break by calling the MISD Central Office at (270) 753-4363.
As of Friday, April 3, 2020, the MISD has delivered 13,533 meals to MISD families and the community.
