The Murray Independent School District Releases NTI Updates
Dates
Murray Independent Schools plans to extend the use of Non-Traditional Instruction days until Friday April 17th. These days will NOT need to be made up. Spring break will remain April 6th-10th.
During spring break (April 6th-10th) all school buildings/facilities are closed and there will be no food service during this time.
Food Service
Murray Independent School District announced beginning Wednesday, March 25, there will be one bus delivery for MISD families from 11-12:30 p.m. This meal will include a lunch and a breakfast meal for the following day.
On Tuesday, March 24, bus deliveries will remain the same. The lunch delivery will include breakfast for Wednesday, March 25. All future lunch deliveries will include breakfast for the following day.
This change does not affect the current pick-up breakfast and lunch times at Murray Middle School (7a.m.-8 a.m. breakfast), and (11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.). This service will remain the same.
The MISD is providing FREE breakfast and lunch meals for our MISD families for any student in each household 18 and under. To sign up for meals call (270) 753-4363.
Devices
Devices for students are still available if students need them. Please call the school to arrange pickup if a device is needed. If you do not have access to the Internet at home and need paper materials please contact your child’s teacher or school.
Prom
The Murray High School Prom scheduled for Saturday, April 18, has been postponed. A date will be set once school is back in session and all parties (students, parents, vendors, support staff, etc.) have been notified.
