MES Students Pictured with MSU Alpha Gams and Lamba Chi's
------Murray Elementary School (K-3) assisted in a collaborative effort with Murray State University Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority and Lamba Chi Alpha Fraternity Needline Food Drive. MES contributed 1,650 cans. Mrs. Nancy Newsome’s kindergarten class received first place donating 228 cans, and Mrs. Jackie Robinson’s first grade class donated 192 cans placing second for top donations. Total box and bag donations totaled 1,800 pounds. Amberly Munsey, MES first grade teacher, said the community service project received great support. MSU Alpha Gamma Delta and Lamba Chi Alpha members collected cans from MES.
