Coy Samons, MISD superintendent, announces new MISD Personnel Changes
Murray, Ky., Nov. 8----Coy Samons, Murray Independent School District superintendent, announced the following MISD employees have been selected to fill recent vacancies within the Murray Independent School District:
Lou Carter, employed with the MISD since 2004 has served as a Middle School principal and Instructional Supervisor, named MISD Assistant Superintendent -Student Services & Director of Pupil Personnel.
Whitney York, former teacher and technology integration specialist since 2010, named MISD Assistant Superintendent Instruction, Curriculum & Human Resources.
Teresa Speed, employed since 2002 and former MHS principal, named Safe School Coordinator and Assistant Director of Pupil Personnel.
Ann Greenfield, employed with MISD since 2002 as teacher and former coach, will serve as the MISD athletic director.
Jim Baurer, employed since 2012 in facilities and athletics, has been named Maintenance Director.
