The Murray Independent School District directs one of the most successful volunteer programs in the state of Kentucky. Each year over 500 volunteers assist in the MISD with our student body of 1,500 students. Volunteers are required to have a current state background on file (good for five years), and also required to attend volunteer trainings to become eligible to volunteer at each respective school and or other academic/educational activies. A current list of available dates are listed for the upcoming school year. Trainings last approximately 20 minutes and are open to any volunteer who wishes to volunteer within the district. If any questions, please email sherry.purdom@murray.kyschools.us, or call 270-753-4363. Thanks for your MISD volunteer support.
