Family and Community Engagement

The Office of Head Start's Parent, Family and Community Engagement Framework inspires collaboration between staff, families and communities to achieve better outcomes for children and families. Family Service staff build partnerships with families to support their goals for their children and themselves. The ongoing relationship fosters parental confidence and skills that promotes the early learning and development of their children. Staff empower families with knowledge of how to engage with community resources to meet the family's needs and interests.
