Dr. David Meinschein, Ed.D., MISD Superintendent, said Murray Elementary and Murray Middle School consistently deliver on high academic achievement. “For Murray Independent, the rankings represent more than academic achievement. They reflect the collective efforts of dedicated educators, support staff, students, families, and a community that has consistently prioritized public education. I couldn't be more proud of our students, employees, Board of Education, and community. Sustained excellence requires extraordinary people working toward a common purpose. That’s the Murray way!”
Murray Elementary School and Murray Middle School have earned recognition among Kentucky's highest-ranked public schools, continuing the district's longstanding tradition of academic excellence.
